  <!-- Biology -->
  <biology>
    <physiology>
      Beedrill resembles a wasp, but only has four legs. The first two are tipped with long stingers. It has veined wings, and another stinger on its abdomen.
    </physiology>
    <abilities>
      They have incredibly painful stings, and move extremely fast. They chase after intruders relentlessly in a swarm. Beedrill is the only known Pokémon that learns Twineedle.
    </abilities>
    <behavior>
      They are highly territorial, and normally live in colonies. Disturbing a swarm of Beedrill will cause the whole colony to attack. Beedrill is depicted as being very quick, so it's extremely difficult to avoid it's attack after approaching it's nest.
    </behavior>
    <habitat>
      Most Beedrill nest in forests, and misty wooded areas.
    </habitat>

  <franchising>
    <design>
      Its design appears to simply be a stylized bee or wasp. However, it has a much closer resemblance to an Asian giant hornet. Its shiny variation is similar to blue hornets. Its shiny form may be based on the Agapostemon, as both are green in color.
    </design>
    <origin>
      Beedrill's name is a combination of "bee", and "drill", indicating the needlelike arms it wields.
